Togbeg\u00e3 Abutia Kodzo Gidi V was born on September 13, 1981, into the Royal Hlorviafe Family by Zikpuitor Seth Kodzo Attah (deceased)(Stool Father of the Paramount Stool of Abutia Traditional Area) and Tsiami Aurelia Agbleke (from Ahanoe Clan of Abutia Teti) (deceased) (Most Senior Linguist to the Paramount Queen Mother of Abutia).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Togbeg\u00e3 attended E. P. Primary School and E. P. Junior High School, Abutia Teti, completing his basic education in 1994.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

He gained admission into Mawuli School, Ho, in 1995 to read Science. After studying in Mawuli School, for two years, he transferred to Abutia Senior High Technical School which he completed in 1997.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Togbeg\u00e3 continued his education at Ho Technical University (then Ho Polytechnic) where he obtained a Diploma in Business Studies (DBS)(Accounting option) in July 2001. In 2005, Togbeg\u00e3 returned to the Ho Polytechnic to obtain the Higher National Diploma in Marketing which he completed in 2007. He later enrolled at the Evangelical Presbyterian University College, Ho, where he obtained a BSC. (Hons) in Business Administration (Marketing option) in July 2010.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2012, Togbeg\u00e3 continued his quest for higher education by enrolling for an online International Executive Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration (IEMB) at Paris Graduate School of Management, Paris, France.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2019, Togbeg\u00e3 gained admission into the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to read a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Finance which he completed successfully in September 2021.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Currently, Togbeg\u00e3 is a doctoral student of Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies, Wa, in the Upper West Region of Ghana where he is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Planning and Sustainable Development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Abutia Paramount Black Stool became vacant in September 1990 thus Zikpuitor Attah Kodzo became the leader of the Council of Elders together with Togbe Keh Kwasi VII, the Most Senior Mankrado of Abutia, ably aided by the Town Development Committee, the Peoples Defence Committee (PDC) and the Unit Committees to keep law and order in the communities of Abutia. However, it was obvious to all that the vacancy of the Paramount Black Stool created a power vacuum which retarded the progress and peace of the Abutia State.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Kwaku Halig\u00e3 committee, comprising Mr. Kwaku Halig\u00e3 (deceased), Mr. E. K. Amedzro (deceased), Mr. E. K. Kudiabor (deceased) and Mr. Hanson Kodzo Dogbeten (deceased), was constituted to restore peace to Abutia and fi nd a suitable candidate to occupy the Abutia Paramount Black Stool.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On September 1, 1998, the kingmakers of the Royal Hlorviafe Clan gave the people of Abutia their new leader. Known in private life as Mr. Elikem Sitsofe Kwasi Attah, Togbeg\u00e3 Abutia Kodzo Gidi V became the seventeenth (17th) occupant of the Paramount Black Stool of Abutia after swearing the Great Oath on September 8, 1998, marking a turning point in the history of the Abutia State. At the tender age of nineteen (19), he is the youngest person ever to ascend the Paramount Black Stool of Abutia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following the creation of the Abutia Traditional Council by his Excellency the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and its subsequent inauguration on his behalf by Hon. Kofi Dzamesi then Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Aff airs in 2022, Togbeg\u00e3 became a member of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs and serves on its powerful Judicial Committee.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Togbeg\u00e3 was recruited by the Controller and Accountant General\u2019s Department and posted to the Ghana Health Service as an account offi cer in charge of boards and corporations stationed at Ridge Hospital in Accra between 2002 and 2005.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Togbeg\u00e3 did his post HND National Service with the Ghana Education (GES) and opted to teach at his alma mater, Abutia Senior High Technical School, where he taught Business Management endearing himself to his students and his colleague teachers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After graduating from the E. P. University, Ho, Togbeg\u00e3 was employed by the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) in 2011 as a Business Development Offi cer stationed at Sogako\u0192e. After six (6) years of dedicated service to ADB Togbeg\u00e3 tendered in his resignation in April 2017 to focus fulltime on his traditional duties, which culminated in the setting up of the Abutia Traditional Council and farming. Togbeg\u00e3\u2019s passion for farming has seen him cultivate teak, cocoa, coconuts, maize, pepper, and cassava.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Currently, Togbeg\u00e3 is a director of CCL Properties Management Company Limited, a SSNIT wholly owned limited liability company.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
